DR. BRYAN MCKINLEY BRAYBOY:
A Critical Race Theory Analysis of a Challenge to an American Indian Teacher Training Program
Dr. Brayboy is Assistant Professor of Education, Culture, &
Society at the University of Utah. His research areas include
American Indians in Higher Education, higher education and peer
groups, and minorities and schooling. This talk will combine
anthropology, sociology, and political & legal theory to
describe and analyze Dr. Brayboy's on-going work with Native
American education in Utah.
Dr. Brayboy's visit to Duke is organized by Dr. Zoila Airall (Assistant Vice President for Campus Life, Division of Student Affairs) and co-sponsored by the Department of Cultural Anthropology.
