LEGACY BUILDING

What is Legacy Building?
In terms of student groups, a legacy is a shared history and reputation that gets handed down with each new class of students or after each academic year. Thus, legacy building is developing and preserving a positive shared history and reputation.

Why is Legacy Building Important?
Legacy building is important because it is the basis of how your organization is perceived and how people interact with your organization. A positive legacy is important not only on the inside but the outside as well. That is, how others outside your organization perceive and interact with your organization is just as important as how members within your organization perceive and interact with each other.
